Uniroyal Global Opens New Detroit Office to Serve North American Automotive Market; Adds New Director of Automotive Sales
SARASOTA, FL — May 2, 2019 – Uniroyal Global Engineered Products, Inc. (OTCQB: UNIR), a leading global provider of vinyl-coated fabrics and soft trim technologies serving the automotive, recreational, industrial, contract, hospitality and healthcare markets, announced today it has opened a new Detroit area office dedicated to the North American automotive market. The new office features a design studio along with a sales team dedicated to serving existing OEM customers and new automotive clients. The office is located in Farmington Hills, Michigan and joins other Uniroyal Global offices in Stoughton, Wisconsin; Sarasota, Florida; Earby, Lancashire, United Kingdom; and Shanghai, China.

Mercadante has a proven track record in the industry gained from his roles at leading global automotive interior suppliers. “Joe brings a wealth of knowledge from his more than 25 years of experience in the automotive industry. We look forward to him playing a key role in growing our business in the North American automotive market,” added Larry Bressler, Executive Vice President and General Manager.
